Receptionist Vacancy

We are seeking to recruit an experience part-time Medical Receptionist /Admin Assistant, to work at ACE Medical Partnership Practices for a total of 20-24 hours/week covering am and pm shifts over 4-5 days per week.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a GP surgery and be able to demonstrate excellent customer services skills, with the ability to work under pressure, as part of team and have complete flexibility to cover for absence and annual leave.

This is a varied and interesting role covering all aspects of Medical Reception, Administration duties using Emisweb and Docman10 clinical systems.

Please note that there is a requirement for the site to be covered from 8.00am until 6.30pm, therefore you will need to have a flexible approach to start and finish times.

Applicants will need to have good IT skills and experience of reception work, preferably in a medical environment.

Reception Manager Vacancy 

 25 hours per week

As our Reception Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of our reception team within the busy medical centre.

Delivering a professional service at all times, you’ll work independently within appropriate guidelines to ensure that all reception and administrative duties for the medical centre are efficiently organised. You will liaise with patients, Doctors, Nurses and other colleagues on a frequent basis and handle all information in a sensitive and confidential manner.

You will be responsible for a large team working alongside them carrying out all reception duties with overall responsibility for the smooth running of the team.

Organised, with good judgment and empathy, you should have a professional manner and a caring nature. You will be responsible for training, induction, appraisals, rotas, motivating and encouraging the team. The ability to handle patient complaints and HR issues is also key.
